The Capitol Technologies CT PowerBrick, and the CT SuperBrick, have been designed with several features that improve the performance, longevity and security of this popular type of battery. Both the 13.2V and 14.4V bricks come in 4AH and 5AH versions and use the standard three point mounting system. The CT SuperBrick is a full 14.4V, 7 Amp battery rated at a full 105 Watts, making it the most powerful NiCd brick on the market today. These batteries come equipped with an auto-reset circuit breaker. Upon sensing a short, the unit separates the battery from the source of harm. After removing the cause of the short, the unit automatically resets itself. Another feature of the CT PowerBrick and the CT SuperBrick are the NiCd cells’ shock resistant mounting, being well cushioned with a layer of foam separating them from the battery’s housing. And lastly, the extremely durable anodized aluminum chassis and casing not only help protect the battery from everyday wear and tear, but also come in five different colors, and in any combination. This feature aids in crew and / or station identification purposes.
